About Artopia Giclée

This studio is dedicated to providing photography, scanning, printing, framing, publishing and retouching solutions for artists, families, art collectors, galleries and anybody else with an art-related project they would like to complete.

We help artists and others who need giclée fine art reproduction copies of their original artwork by providing high-resolution scanning, expert color proofing and archival Giclée reproduction prints, on on a variety of fine art paper and stretched canvas. Once the original artwork has been copied and printed, it can be framed in our frame shop. Since we are an authorized Larson Juhl frame shop, you will have access to one of largest collection of high-quality frames in the world,

If you are a family trying to settle an estate or share a special painting with other family members, you've come to the right place. No matter the size or condition of the original, no matter if it is framed or not, we will work with you to create an exquisite reproduction that perfectly matches your original in every way. To ensure guaranteed accurate color, we won’t print anything till you have signed off on a color proof print that shows exactly, ahead of time, how the final copy of your artwork will look, on the paper or canvas of your choice. If the original artwork has brushstrokes, we will custom light the art primarily from the top when scanning, so the resulting copies look deceptively three-dimensional, just like the original. If the painting is under glass, we can remove the painting in our frame shop for photography, or shoot throught the glass - if that's the only option. If the art is removed, we can re-insert it into the original frame or a different frame of your choice.. And If the original artwork needs a repair of any kind, we can digitally restore the digital copy file so all prints made from it would be also restored. We can even connect you to professional art restorer we work with, who can repair, clean or restore your original.

We also completed an important project for the Rhode Island Historic society that involved photographing and digitally restoring a 25 ft x 15 foot theatre background depicting Providence, Rhode Island around 1820.

We feel exactly the same about our services. We firmly believe that delivering anything less than our best possible work is just wrong. We're not a factory here. We do this business because we enjoy creating excellence, and we love to see our customers smile when we deliver that to them. We're so confident you'll love our services, we unconditionally guarantee everything we do.
