Fine Art Scanning, Photography of Art, Art Reproduction Printing and Framing

Cutting edge imaging and printing solutions. We love difficult projects and guarantee everything we do.

Artopia Giclée – Fine art scanning, prints on Epson, Arches and Hahnemuhle papers and canvas, custom framing, fine art books and gallery, location and studio photography/scanning of 2-D and 3-D art of any size or medium.

Our scanning technique produces enormous capture files of astonishing quality.  This is combined with gallery lighting to bring out brushstrokes and other fine surface details of original art for reproduction prints that have an incredible trompe l’oeil realism at any size or viewing distance.

We moved our studio at the end of 2019 from Melrose and are now in a beautiful new space conveniently located in Historic Stoneham Square, Stoneham, MA. Our main office and studio are on the second floor, and upstairs we have 4 large anrooms for print spraying, fnishing, copywork and framing.  There is plenty of free parking. June 2022  We photographed the oldest theatre background in the country for the Rhode Island Historic Society and restored it using a unique digital/analog restoration process we developed. The 25' x 15' canvas backdrop depicts Providence Rhode Island around 1812. Check out more photos and a description of this important project for us.

COVID-19 Safety Information

We care about your health during these difficult times. Here is what we're doing to make things safe.

1. Optional curbside pickup directly in front of our studio. You don't have to come in.

2. Paypal invoicing:  no need for credit card transaction in the studio unless you want to.

3. Separate client meeting area and short meetings. We'll show you around but we'll all be in masks and will keep our distance.

4. Separate office. This is where we spend much of our time and where the printer is located.

5. Our production area is on another floor totally separate from the client meeting area. This is where we do framing, print finishing, print spaying, and wood cutting for stretcher bars.

6. This is a very small building with only two other people working here. We rarely see them and everyone wears masks when in public spaces.

7. We insist that all clients and staff wear masks and let us know if they have been near anyone with covid.

8. July 27 update: All team members at Artopia are fully vaccinated. With the new variant floating around, it would be wise to visit with a mask even if you are vaccinated. If you don't have a vaccine yet, please get one for the safety of all and we'll be happy to help you when that's all set.

If you need any other info, please give me a call. Thanks!
